A part of the Daytona State CCAMPIS (which stands for “Child Care Access Means Parents In School”) initiative, The Falcon’s Nest is an area where student parents can study with their children.
The tree house mural is a welcoming and practical entrance to the Falcon's Nest. Where the mural covers the glass door and windows, it becomes a one-way mesh that allows people to look out, but not in, the room where the children are playing.
But I did want to leave a little peephole at eye level for the kids to peer out into the college lobby.
Inside
I also got to help design elements for inside the room, including the posters, logos, and environmental elements.
