One of my all-time favorite projects, I worked on the team for "Chew on This!" as the primary character designer and one of the graphic designers while employed at the University of Central Florida. The project was a collaboration between the University of Central Florida, Art Reach Orlando, Hebni Nutrition, and Florida Blue Insurance, and it aimed to help underprivileged youth in Orlando learn more about developing healthy habits. Encountering many different professionals while working on this book, I learned a great deal from child psychologists and educators, children's book creators from Scholastic, character design P.H.D. students, and my fellow designers. The end result is a meaningful and fun workbook that I'm incredibly proud to have contributed to.
